You Don’t Need More Meditation

Meditation does not equal regulation. Your dysregulated body doesn’t need more meditation. It needs:

More screaming. More crying. More raging. More feeling. More movement. More vulnerability.

We cannot meditate, exercise, mantra, or positive think our way into regulation; we cannot spiritually study, know, or bypass our way into true healing. All of these can be tools but a very integral step must be taken.

What we really need in at this time is to FEEL. So we need safe & healthy spaces to express our anger. We need to grieve & cry. We need to scream & shake. We need to hold ourselves.

We need to off-burden all of the stuck and stored emotions and subconscious belief patterns that are at the true roots of why we are dysregulated.

If we don’t deal with why we are dysregulated to begin with, regulation tools like meditation become a bandaid that provides symptom management, much like a medication would do.

This keeps us in a constant loop of dis-ease because the regulation tool might help in the moment, but it’s not getting to the root of why our bodies are in this state to begin with.

Dysregulation & dis-ease are the body’s way of inviting us into the places we are not free.

We must meet the underlying emotions & subconscious thought patterns that create such dysfunction in the nervous system, so we can step into the true and lasting health & regulation we are after.

I am so passionate about this work because I see so many people that know their trauma, stored experiences & emotions affect their health but perhaps don’t have the tools in order to properly support the body, get in touch with their emotions and begin the re-wiring of their neural pathways.

This is why I am offering support through one to one, in Community virtually, and in-person Gatherings. I have entire tool box of resources, training, and patterns for healing I have channeled and discovered through work with clients.

Also I offer connection to other practitioners, healers, and facilitators through The Illuminated Collective. We are a collection of women, facilitators, and practitioners informed by Western Medicine, Eastern Medicine, Herbalism, Aromatherapy, Transpersonal Psychology, Mind-body Medicine & our impeccably wise Gaia Connections. We are here to fully support the body, mind, emotions & Spirit out of dysregulation and dis-ease.
