What are the Akashic Records?
The Akashic Records are basically a record of what will happen, is happening, or has happened. Because they are a higher dimension, the rules of time don’t really apply. Time is a flat circle to the Akashic Records, so information from 2,000 years ago is as accessible as what happened to you yesterday. And what happened to you yesterday is as available as what could happen to you — if you stay on the same destiny trajectory — in 10 years.
The Akashic Records are the record of your soul’s journey and every incarnation you have ever had. From the time you first arise from Source until you eventually return to Source. And this can take millennia or more. No matter how new or ancient your Soul is, the Akashic energy holds all your thoughts, feelings, actions and deeds from each lifetime. Many people imagine the Akashic Record as a library with each book representing a lifetime. Some people look at the Records as a computer with all your info stored in the Cloud. I once had my records represented as an actual record that could be switched out depending on the information I was seeking.
Truth is, the Akashic Field is part of and connected to the All; in everyone and everything.
You have your own Masters, Angles, Teachers and Beings of Light that are unique to you that support you and keep this information. We can access these Masters & Teacher and they will answer your personal questions about this life and the past lives which are affecting you today when it is applicable and allowed.
When you realize that you came into life with a plan, or soul contract, it becomes very useful to access information about your path. Contracts can entail coming to complete or fulfill a past life vow or to be with someone special and to support people who are part of our soul family. The human challenge is that as soon as we’re born we forget this plan. And honestly that is some of the beauty.
At times in our life we feel blocked or constricted or disappointed in our life because we don’t remember why we choose our families or situations. We may feel life is unfair or very difficult. Interestingly, everything has its own Akashic Record. Your soul has an Akashic Record, your house has an Akashic Record, your dog, even your relationship! You can open the specific Records of things to ask questions that pertain to them.

The Many Worlds Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics states, “there are parallel universes that exist side-by-side, and for every action, we take there is an infinite number of universes that co-exist at the same time, right next to us, in which we did NOT make that action.”
What can you ask the Akashic Records?
The best thing about the Records is that you can use them as a resource whenever you want answers. Through the Records, we can download information regarding any imaginable topic and question — as long as the questions are self-focused (if you’re reading for yourself) and open-ended.
Before we get into why it’s essential to avoid yes or no questions, you need to learn more about the Recordkeepers. The beings that sort of translate the Akashic Records into language we can understand are called our Masters, Teachers, and Loved Ones (MTLOs, for short).
What happens when you open the Akashic Records?
To open the Records, get in a quiet place with few distractions. Pro-tip: Go to the bathroom, because if you’re uncomfortable it can be difficult to drop into the Records. Once you’re settled, you need to say the Pathway Process Prayer. When you do, you might feel different than you usually do when you meditate. You might not. Sometimes when you open your Records you may feel pressure around your Crown Chakra on the top of your head, like information is funneling or channeling down to you.
You may hear sound or voices, images, or feel a deep sense of knowing. Other times, you might need to sit for a while before anything comes through. Everyone is different, and all people have unique intuitive gifts. If you know that you lean toward any of the five clairs of clairvoyance, there’s a good chance that’s how messages from the Records will come through for you. Once you’ve gotten your bearings, you can start to ask your questions. Be patient — you might need to rephrase your question if the answer isn’t coming through. Try not to judge as information flows … sometimes, it really doesn’t make sense. Like, at all.
So if something totally ridiculous comes through, or you don’t understand the message that you get, don’t forget that you can just ask your guides or record keepers to clarify themselves. Honestly, in all things when in doubt, ask for more clarity. When access the records make sure when you are done to say thank you and close your Records.
The Akashic Records are a beautiful tool that anyone with an open mind can use. You can ask about anything from what your ideal diet is, about business, relationships, and more. They’re useful in so many situations beyond the esoteric. During our time on Earth, we feel the greatest when we’re around individuals with whom we have shared soul agreements. There are, however, some connections that cause us unendurable agony in order to assist us progress in life. Both love and distress exist in these connections.
According to the theory of a soul contract, before we incarnate in this lifetime, we correspond with a specific soul. The two souls then meet and negotiate an agreement to collaborate and grow together on Earth. In order to do that, we require the help from other people – and other souls.These contracts aren’t written in stone. They’re created to stimulate our spiritual growth, just like any other decision we make in life. However, when two souls are meant for each other, their connection will bring them the greatest happiness.
